Cara Group Training & Safety

Cara’s Employees are the
Company’s Greatest Asset.

The Cara Group operates a planned and systematic approach to Health & Safety. Regular site safety inspections by permanent health and safety officers are carried out across the group. This incorporates the use of inductions, method statements, risk assessments, on and off site training and regular ongoing reviews.

The Company operates its own internal training and development plan in order to implement new methods to improve competency and refresh safety knowledge within its workforce. This proactive approach to safety keeps the Cara Group working effectively maintaining a significantly low accident/incident rate, which is a considerable achievement for a company within the construction industry.

Another proactive approach to safety saw the implementation of the ‘Driving Safety Home’ campaign. This campaign aimed at raising an even greater awareness for employees to work and operate in a safe manner, reinforcing the benefits this will produce in their lives.
