Health & Safety

Cara Group operates an Occupational Health and Safety Management System which has been accredited to ISO 45001.

With a strong commitment to providing the highest standard of safe working practise, health and safety is at the forefront of everything that we do.

Our in-house SHE Department focuses on establishing, implementing and maintaining management systems on a day to day basis in addition to supporting colleagues across the group through providing practical guidance and advice.

Environmental

Cara Group has an Environmental Management System which has been accredited to BS EN ISO 14001:2015 and this is implemented across all its operations.

We are committed to minimising our impact on the environment and supporting the communities in which we live and work.

Quality

Cara Group operates a Quality Management System which has been accredited to BS EN ISO 9001:2015 and this is implemented across all its operations.

We strongly believe that a rigorous quality control regime is fundamental in reducing snagging and achieving zero defects.  Our aim is to provide a right first time, defect free service to all our clients, on time and within budget.

Training

Cara Group firmly believes that its employees are its greatest asset and therefore continuously invests in them to complement and enhance their skills and knowledge.

As part of our Investors in People accreditation, we strive to ensure that employees achieve qualifications relevant to their chosen field, whilst gaining and enhancing their experience. We operate an in-house training and development plan, implementing new methods to improve competency and refresh knowledge within the workforce.

It is our company policy for all employees to complete CSCS accreditation offering progression through a range of NVQ qualifications. The company has previously been awarded the CSCS Certification of Commitment Platinum Standard due to the high level of employees currently trained and competent in Health and Safety.
