Berkeley ILWSF

Overview

Forming part of the Magnox—Interserve framework agreement to construct a number of Nuclear Intermediate Level Waste (ILW) facilities throughout Magnox sites in the UK. The Berkeley scheme was no. 3 of 6 chosen sites. All Cara management and operatives were verified through the disclosure Scotland process prior to commencement on site. The Insitu concrete structure consisted of wall pours 12mts in height at widths of 600mm. Extensive temporary works were installed to support the reinforcement prior to formwork erection. Excellent relationships were formed with both Interserve and Magnox site teams.
