At CARA Group, we are committed to supporting organisations that make a real difference in the communities we work in. One of these incredible organisations is The Diversity Hub, a charity led by the inspiring Nicola Fenton, whose dedication to helping people from all walks of life is truly admirable.
As part of our recent support for the Hub, CARA’s construction team carried out a number of improvement works to enhance accessibility and comfort within the building. These works included the installation of an ACO channel to help manage water issues, as well as the construction of two new access ramps, improving wheelchair and pram accessibility for visitors.
The Diversity Hub plays an essential role in the local community. Their work includes supporting individuals with disabilities, providing food banks, offering free hot meals, delivering free haircuts, and hosting a range of community activities for people of all ages. Their impact is both wide-reaching and deeply felt.
Our Site Manager, Harry Noar, recently visited The Diversity Hub alongside Glencar to see the improvements first-hand and spend time with Nicola and her team. During the visit, he had the opportunity to observe the space in action, supported by dedicated volunteers such as Nicola’s daughter, Hannah, who helps bring the charity’s mission to life every day.
We are proud to have contributed to the ongoing development of this vital community facility and to support the exceptional work led by Nicola and the wider team at The Diversity Hub.
