Last week, Cara Brickwork attended the ‘Getting Connected – Building Local Opportunities’ event, which was organised by Morgan Sindall Construction.
This event proved to be an excellent opportunity to gain insights into some of the most exciting developments taking place in the local area, particularly The Multiversity
campus. This new campus is set to provide a state-of-the-art facility for Blackpool and The Fylde College, offering a new home for both students and staff. It’s expected to bring up to 3,000 students and staff into the heart of Blackpool town centre.
At the event, we had the chance to network and liaise with a diverse range of subcontractors and suppliers, as well as engage with the Morgan Sindall team. The event facilitated some valuable conversations, fostering connections that will no doubt prove beneficial to future collaborations and projects. One of the highlights of the day was the opportunity to introduce ourselves to both students and lecturers at the college, where we discussed potential work placement and apprenticeship opportunities
