DOMIS Construction have awarded Cara Brickwork the masonry package on Burlington Square, a new, high quality residential development which is being delivered by the successful joint venture partnership between Salboy and Factory Estates, one of Manchester’s most active developers.
The development comprises of 273 apartments over 9 storeys with ground floor communal facilities, central garden courtyard and a rooftop communal area. Just 2-5 minutes’ walk from the University of Manchester faculty buildings, The Royal Northern College of Music, The Manchester Business School and Manchester Metropolitan University, the development is ideally located in the city’s ‘learning quarter and only a 10-15-minute walk to the City Centre of Manchester.
Cara’s masonry package is worth circa £740k with a 40-week programme. The works will include laying 370,000 bricks as well as blockwork to internal cores and basement walls.
