Cara Brickwork secures the contract on the Drax Power Station for Client Shepherd Construction.
Several months ago ‘Shepherd Construction’ started work on the new Sustainable Biomass Transformation Project at Drax Power Station near Selby. The massive £200 million, two year project is the first step in plans to transform the power station into a predominately Biomass fuelled generator. Cara Brickwork have secured the brickwork and blockwork package on this vast project, which includes amongst other works, five new Energy Buildings in various locations around the huge site.
Work is due to start in September
