Cara Construction have been awarded the ‘Contractor Champion of Site HSE’ for the month of February on the site of the on-shore sub-station for Walney off-shore wind farm.
Site manager Mark Wynn received the award on behalf of the Cara team from Main Contractor Amey. This is not the first time Cara has received the award on this site, testament of the continually pro-active approach to health and safety inherent within the Cara Group.
Regardless of the size or value of the scheme, Cara prides itself on maintaining an exemplary H&S record. But the complexity and technical nature of the Walney scheme means it is even more imperative all operatives and managers remain highly vigilant at all times, and this award proves that’s exactly what the team are doing – congratulations Mark and his team!
