Cara Brickwork has secured the masonry package on a new four-storey School of Veterinary Medicine facility at @UCLanuni for Morgan Sindall.
Morgan Sindall is to create a state-of-the-art building to house Lancashire’s only Veterinary School. 🏗
The 45,000 sq ft veterinary teaching facility at the University of Central Lancashire’s Preston campus will be home to the 11th Veterinary School in the UK. It will be a base for students and staff on foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate courses in areas such as veterinary medicine, bio veterinary science, veterinary clinical practice, veterinary physiotherapy and rehabilitation, and clinical animal behaviour and training.
It will be constructed on what is currently UCLan’s Greenbank Car Park, off Victoria Street.
Wilson Mason was the architect that designed the scheme which aims to achieve sufficient credits for the building to qualify for a BREEAM Excellent rating.

Cara Flooring has secured the composite concrete flooring package on this scheme too and the work started on that earlier this week. This is Cara Flooring’s third project in a row to be awarded from Morgan Sindall!
