Following on from the exceptional relationship established with BCEGI during construction of the Middlewood Locks project, Cara Brickwork have been awarded the masonry package on The Lexington, BCEGI’s first scheme in Liverpool. The masonry package has a programme of 18 weeks spread over 3 years with the main work commencing on site in June 2019.
Inspired by Liverpool’s maritime history and links with New York the building is named after its New York-inspired design. The Lexington forms part of the Peel Group’s £5.5 billion Liverpool Waters regeneration masterplan and overlooks the docks that first kick-started Liverpool’s growth. The 34-storey tower will be the tallest residential landmark in the city’s Liverpool Waters area.
