Working closely with our  Client Willmott Dixon Construction, Cara Concrete Flooring Division, are delighted to be able to announce today, Friday 1st May 2020,  the final concrete pour at  New Kings Dock, MSCP Contract in Liverpool.

The work comprised 35,000m2 of Power Floated, Reinforced Concrete Slabs, complete with access ramps and concrete upstands. The works have been finally delivered, working in close collaboration with Willmott Dixon site team, to ensure strict adherence to Government and Industry Covid-19 Guidelines, achieved through reduced pour sizes and reduced concrete gangs sizes, ensuring social distancing and demonstrating that it is still possible to deliver high quality schemes such as this, when likeminded individuals work together whilst ensuring the wellbeing of their employees.

Andy Beale, Senior Build Manager quoted, “Cara Flooring have completed these floors with an excellent attitude towards quality and Health and Safety, particularly at these unpresented times. Their approach demonstrates that we made the correct decision to award them this Project, following the successful delivery of my previous contract with them at the Victoria Street MSCP, also in Liverpool”.

The Cara Business is also close to completing the Ground Works, Civils and Superstructure Masonry packages, demonstrating the wide and varied specialisms, within the organisation.

Many thanks go to Willmott Dixon and their site team, for their professional approach on this Scheme, particularly over recent weeks.
