Project Quantity Surveyor.
Cara Construction are a leading independently owned North West based contractor specialising in groundworks, civils, flooring, and utilities.
We have an immediate requirement for a Project Quantity Surveyor to work on new groundworks projects starting in January. The business has expanded over the last 5 years into new markets and is growing at a rapid rate. The successful candidate would report directly to the Commercial Director and would involve responsibility for all post-contract commercial management on specific projects.
We are looking for someone who has a minimum 5 years relevant experience, is a self-starter, highly motivated and possesses an attention to detail, is disciplined and logical with excellent communication and numeric skills. The role will involve travel and a company car will be provided, with a generous salary negotiable for the right candidate.
The individual must be commercially and contractually astute, with excellent computer skills and a good understanding of the JCT and NEC subcontracts. With a deep knowledge of excel and ability to navigate spreadsheets and formulas.
