A notification to all Cara Group of companies including Cara Construction staff (incl. flooring & utility divisions), Cara Brickwork staff, suppliers, and clients:
In relation to Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic, the safety of our staff and their families, our subcontractors, and the public is paramount.
We are finding it increasingly difficult to adhere to the Government and Public Health England guidance on ‘Social Distancing’ and staying 2 metre from each other at all times on all our sites.
Key material suppliers have temporally closed, and the vast majority of Principal Contractor’s we work for have taken the decision to close in-order to protect workers.
Cara Brickwork Ltd have taken the decision to suspend our operations on site entirely from 27th March 2020, initially for a period of 2 weeks (subject to further updates and guidance from the Government).
Cara Construction have taken the decision to suspend our operations on the vast majority of our sites from 27th March 2020, initially for a period of 2 weeks (subject to further updates and guidance from the Government). A select number of contracts will continue following a site assessment to ensure social distancing can be adhered to, and suitable standards are in place, or if the work is considered essential.
During this unforeseen worldwide pandemic, our main priority is the health of our workforce, followed by our desire to support our repeat clients who have grown to rely on Cara Construction’s ability to perform safely, to a high quality, and within programme.
Throughout this period, the essential company telephone lines will be answered and essential emails will be responded to.
We thank all staff, clients and suppliers for supporting this decision, and we wish you and your families well over the coming weeks/months.
We will be in contact regarding any further developments or updates.
