At Cara, we’re proud to support the next generation of skilled workers, so when we got a call from Wirral Met College to help with their unique ‘brick Christmas tree’ project, we were more than happy to get involved.
To bring their vision to life, we provided Red Engineering bricks alongside a pack of vibrant Glazed Green bricks, generously supplied by our valued partner, @lineardesignandconstruct.
Our Managing Director, Neil Allen, was at the college for the brick delivery and also took the opportunity to sign a ‘commitment pledge’ with Paul Crawford and Michael Black. Speaking about the project, Neil said: “It’s fantastic to see Michael and the team at Wirral Met doing something a bit different with the apprentices. This project challenges them to step away from the traditional ‘one on top of two’ method and get creative. It’s a great way to build skills and confidence while having a little festive fun!”
As part of our ongoing partnership with Wirral Met College – where three of our apprentices are currently training – we were delighted to provide the materials needed for this exciting project. A huge thanks to Linear Design and Construct for their support in making this happen.
We can’t wait to see the finished Christmas tree, complete with flashing lights and a fairy on top. Stay tuned for updates! 🌟
