The new modern £9 million Tan y Fron Extra Care Facility in Ffordd-yr-Orsedd, Llandudno is a pioneering project consisting of new housing, health and social care facilities.
The overall project will provide 46 one and two bedroom luxury apartments situated within a large communal area with state of the art facilities. The ambitious plans include a Cinema and Library area, Hobbies room, Hairdressing Salon, and a Restaurant. This new infrastructure will create a vibrant community for the over 60’s, who have the choice to either rent or buy the apartments subject to eligibility criteria. A 24 hour domiciliary care programme will be in place for the people living here in the future, to ensure that their overall health needs are provided for.
Client GallifordTry have already completed demolition work on the site to make way for this new and exciting re-development. The project has been part financed by the Welch Government Social Housing Grant.
