Cara Brickwork has been awarded the Masonry package on the Wilburn Basin project for Renaker Build.
Four buildings of between 8 and 21 storeys would house the 500 apartments which includes a mix of one, two and three-bedroom properties is to be built on a three-acre site near the River Irwell’s historic Wilburn Street Basin, which was built in 1864 and used as a mooring site.
Cara’s contract, with a value of some £3m shall commence middle of June and shall run till November 2016.
