Cara Brickwork has secured the brickwork & blockwork package on the new Moyes Community Centre at Seacroft in Leeds for BAM Construction.
The 1,270 square metre Bond Bryan Architects designed building, which is adjacent to the John Young Academy, will be a base for community health, social services, post-16 education, community policing and cadets.
The building has been named The Moyes Centre at DYCA in recognition of the work of DYCA founding chairman of governors Hartley Moyes, who has also been instrumental in its creation. It is due to be up and running by summer 2011.
