Cara Brickwork and Cara Construction have secured a joint contract worth in the region of £2 million.
Construction works comprise of both extensive deep sewer and associated under slab drainage, RC Foundations and ground floor slab, along with the construction of a new car park, drainage and associated Substation works, whilst Brickwork works compromise of a brick skin to SFS frame with 250,000 bricks, Blockwork and masonry support.
Willmott Dixon have seen the benefits of having two major subcontracts under one business, proving them with certain programme delivery and unconflicting coordination of trades.
Working out of the offices in Liverpool, Cara have been able to offer local employment along with using local suppliers to deliver Archbishop Blanch, benefitting the local communities and assisting both main contractors in achieving their KPIs for local deliverables.
