Cara Brickwork have been awarded Willmott Dixon Award for “Training and Development”
Cara won the Award for working closely with ‘Liverpool In Work’by employing local people at our new office in Liverpool and assisting WD to meet there Scape KPI’s on Notre Dame College by employing local labour and commitment to Apprentices.
The Award was presented to Joey Allen (MD – Cara Brickwork) by Anthony Dillon (Regional MD – Willmott Dixon)
Joey Allen quoted – It is good to be recognised for the effort put in by all within the company, we decided to open the Liverpool Office nearly 1 year ago due to the amount of work that the company had secured within the Liverpool and surrounding areas, this in turn helps us to be able to take on Apprentices (4 in the last year – just in Liverpool area alone) and give them the continuity of work.
The same also applies to the other members of staff we have within the Liverpool and surrounding areas, it also cuts down on omissions by keeping ”Local people Local” and do our bit for the environment.
