Cara’s Apprentices 2021

Cara’s largest Apprentice intake

Cara Brickwork have always been committed to bring through Brickwork apprentices due to the Directors (Joey & Neil Allen) once being apprentice bricklayers themselves.

Neil is on the board for the ABC training Centre which helps promote the advanced learning off Modern Methods Of Building to colleges across the country and regular carries out talks in colleges to promote ‘A life of a Bricklayer’.

2021 has been a hard year for most people but at Cara Brickwork it has been a Fantastic year for apprentices. Cara Brickwork have taken on 10 apprentices on for the September intake at colleges spread throughout North West and Yorkshire.

The Colleges range from:- The City Of Liverpool College/Warrington & Vale College/Bolton College/Leeds College Of Building and we are also in talks with other colleges to give work placements (with a view of apprenticeships).

All the apprentices received there own starter tool kit to help them on their journey and get the best on site tutoring from experienced bricklayers as there mentors.

Our training commitment does not stop at Bricklayers as this year we have just had one of our Commercial trainees (Calum Thompson) got a First in his BSc QS Accelerated degree exam at Salford University. This is 3rd of our commercial staff that has been trained from leaving school to be leading roles in the company.
