Last week, we had the pleasure of attending the Hopwood Hall Apprenticeship Awards 2025, held at the Mercure Norton Grange Hotel and Spa.
The evening was a truly memorable experience, and we were absolutely thrilled to have been invited! Not only did our very own Jack Ellam take home the prestigious ‘Apprentice of the Year’ award, but we were also delighted to win the highly recommended ‘SME of the Year’ award. This recognition was a proud moment for us and truly reflects the hard work and dedication of our entire team.
In addition to the awards, the event raised a fantastic £495.50 for Mind, the mental health charity, which is such an incredible achievement. We’re proud to have been part of an event that supported such a meaningful cause.
At Cara, it’s a genuine pleasure to support the young people of Rochdale and encourage the growth of apprenticeships. We have worked closely with KeyFix to develop a comprehensive and robust apprenticeship programme, which enables us to nurture and develop the skills of our apprentices. We take pride in providing them with opportunities to grow and succeed in the construction industry.
It is truly an honour to collaborate with institutions like Hopwood Hall College, who are deeply committed to the encouragement and well-being of the apprentices. Their unwavering support plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our workforce, and we look forward to continuing this partnership.
