Level 2 Apprentice of the Year- A Story of Hard Work and Dedication

by | Feb 5, 2025

We’re incredibly proud of our Apprentice Jack Ellam, who was awarded the L2 Apprentice of the Year at Hopwood Hall College!

Jack initially pursued A-levels but soon realised that a traditional academic route wasn’t for him.

He started at the very beginning and has worked his way up through sheer hard work and determination. He’s excelled in his L2 Groundworks apprenticeship, earning the respect of both his colleagues and supervisors along the way. Jack shows up every day with a positive attitude, he is dedicated and has a strong desire to learn. He approaches every challenge with enthusiasm, all whilst working through some challenging weather conditions!

In college, Jack has also supported fellow students and volunteered at a local hospice, where he even took on the role of organising and directing other apprentices. His dedication to learning has been evident, and his hard work has now been rewarded with this fantastic achievement. This award celebrates not just his technical skills, but also the journey he’s taken to get here.

With a clear path for progression within Cara Construction Ltd, there is no doubt that Jack will reach his goal of moving into management in the future. With the knowledge and experience he’s gained; he’ll have the skills to lead and successfully manage any project that comes his way.

Well done, Jack – we’re very proud of you, and excited to continue supporting your journey!
