Overview

CARA BRICKWORK LIMITED has been drafted in to help complete a building after the previous brickwork contractor was struggling to get it completed for Septembers intake of students.

The £36.6m project, formerly billed as Renshaw Hall, lies at the edge of Liverpool’s Knowledge Quarter and was being built by Create Construction before they went into administration. The scheme was then taken over by Claritas Group, who contacted Cara Brickworks Directors to see if we could help, it is now back on course for completion ahead of the 2022-23 academic year.

The scheme, which has been designed by city architects Falconer Chester Hall from Liverpool, includes two blocks of eight storeys and one of six storeys. These are to be made up of 52 serviced apartments and a total of 320 units of student accommodation split between 28 self-contained studios and 34 cluster rooms with communal facilities. It will also include a gym, cinema and games room.
