The Square, Hale Barns

On the strength of a long standing relationship with the client Cara were appointed to carry out all groundworks, civil engineering and 278 works on this scheme. The retail part of the project comprised of five single storey retail units and a separate 2,700m² Booths store with associated storage and delivery areas.

The residential accommodation comprises of 24 two and three bedroom high specification luxury apartments over three levels above the retail units. There were extensive temporary works associated with the construction of the 2 level car park and directional drilling techniques were utilised for the FW connections to the trunk sewer thus reducing the impact on traffic congestion. Numerous stakeholders had to be considered as the site was in close proximity to a church, local businesses and surrounded by residential properties.
