Cara Construction has handed over the final stage of public realm works at Stockport Exchange, marking the completion of another phase of development of the busy transport hub.
The second phase of this mixed use development comprises new public realm, creating an arrival square from the station, a new Grade A office building, providing 43,000sqft of office space over 4 floors and an additional 6,000sqft ground floor unit. In addition, an 115 bed hotel has been developed.
Cara have been involved in the project from the first day, installing groundworks, drainage and FRC before continuing onto the installation of the hard landscaping.
