We’re delighted to tell you that ISGlimited has awarded Cara Brickwork the full L, P, M package for the new Wilson Fields Leisure Centre in Accrington, on behalf of HyndburnCouncil.
Designed by Pozzoni_arch, this state-of-the-art leisure centre will be a hub for physical activity, sports, and community events. It will offer both indoor and outdoor facilities, significantly enhancing the local leisure and sporting provisions to support healthy, active lifestyles.
The project features a traditional brick and blockwork façade with internal blockwork for the pool and changing areas. Work is set to begin in mid-July and will span 18 weeks.
This marks our first project with ISG in a few years, and we’re keen to rekindle our partnership as we aim to build three more sports centres in the future.
Neil Allen, Managing Director of Cara Brickwork, said: “This marks a significant return to working with ISG and they have a great pipeline of work in the Northwest with several of these sports centres lined up.
“At Cara we don’t just specialise in Hi Rise Residential but we can adapt to various schemes as you can see from our portfolio, in the last few weeks we have secured different schemes such as schools, colleges, hotels, apartments and a car showroom.
